Institutional Christianity aside, the legacy of the Easter season continues to offer us vital lessons, including the powerful insight of the process of letting go. Jesus of Nazareth as a historical figure remains very often elusive, since record keeping of that time is quite unlike that of contemporary society. However, despite those limitations, along with a multiplicity of theological interpretations of the life and ministry of Jesus, the gifts of the lessons and takeaways of that which we do know afford us opportunities to reflect on what may be some of the most important pieces of the teachings left for us to consider. Join us for a very special Easter service this Sunday when not only will we be discussing the importance of a timely holiday message, but also receiving more new members into our congregation as we meditate on the art of letting go and moving forward into the exciting future legacy of an active and relevant community of faith. Warning: There may be a magic fire and bright flashes. 🙂
