Music brings us together in struggle and in peace. We will celebrate songs of protest featuring new songs coming out of the recent events in Minneapolis and also the calming power of music as well.
Rev Bryan Demeritte will lead the service as we celebrate spring, focusing on the wisdom and lessons of nature in spring. People are encouraged to bring cut flowers or potted seedlings or plants to exchange in the communion ceremony.
At a time when we are on a new leg of our journey, embracing possibility allows us to avoid letting what has happened become a ceiling on what might happen, and to instead adopt a willingness to step forward into the space where the outcome is still unwritten.
