“Living Life as It Comes”

Dr. Susan Clarke will speak on “Living Life as It Comes”, discussing human reactions to trauma – accessing our conscious brain functions versus going into fight, flight or freeze.

Dr. Clarke was born in Europe just before WW 2, so she grew up with war being “normal”. After living in Sudan, Greece and London, she moved to Los Angeles in 1972, and then in July 1977 moved with her then-husband and young son to Saint Paul. She works out of her home as a chiropractor, with a license that allows her to create a different kind of practice from what people usually think. She’s putting together her memoirs and plans to publish them later this year. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, sewing, doing puzzles, and watching northern European noir and Chinese and Korean television dramas.
