Life is growth: Lifelong faith development.

“Life is growth. If we stop growing, technically and spiritually, we are as good as dead.”
~ Ōsensei Morihei Ueshiba

We welcome Thomas Earthman this Sunday. Every Unitarian Universalist congregation commits to encouraging the spiritual growth of its members. That promise does not come with an endpoint. We may grow in understanding, in depth, or in the strength of our faith, but our religion asks that we accept encouragement toward growth of some kind. Lifelong Faith Development is the idea that we, as individuals, benefit from having our beliefs questioned, to strengthen our good ideas and to highlight the convictions that do not serve us. It can help us build a community and shared lexicon, making it easier to teach Unitarian Universalism to newcomers and our own youth. All are welcome! via Zoom or YouTube livestream.

Thomas is a professional religious educator and Faith Development Facilitator with 5 years in congregational work and over a decade in community ministry, including an online ministry that reaches thousands of people a week. They have dozens of hours of training through the UUA and are in college classes, studying human development, communication, and non-profit management. They live in north Texas with their spouse and the 2 youngest of 5 kids.
