Barbara May (our most recent consulting minister before Bryan) will be returning to share with her insights about the holiday season – this time via pre-recorded video.  Bryan will lead the service and ensuing reflection after the recorded message by Barbara, helping to facilitate a discussion about what this time of year brings to us – in both challenging and beneficial ways.  We will talk about how to hold these opposing forces in tandem – and often in cognitive dissonance when the holidays can stir up conflicting thoughts such as memories of loved ones or remembrances of past colonization of indigenous peoples.
