Intersecting Process Theology and Religious Humanism

This presentation explores the convergence of process theology and religious humanism, two frameworks that question traditional views of God, ethics, and human purpose. Process theology envisions God as evolving and deeply connected to the universe, while religious humanism emphasizes human agency, ethical living, and creating meaning without relying on divine intervention. Together, they challenge us to rethink the role of God in a modern world and to consider how humanity can co-create a just, compassionate future. By examining these frameworks, the presentation asks whether God, as a leader, has “worked Himself out of a job” by equipping humanity to act ethically and creatively without divine oversight.
