Celebrating All Saints’ Day – UU Style

Happy Halloween, everyone – and Happy Diwali, Happy Samhain, Happy so many things, as the holiday season for 2024-2025 has unofficially begun in the United States.  We are so very fortunate to live in a nation and culture where so many people from divergent beliefs and backgrounds share community together; this truth is also what much of Unitarian Universalism is built on as well.

UUs embrace an expansive set of theologies that take sainthood to the next logical step for us – the sainthood of all those who have fought and still fight for social and environmental justice – including the sainthood of ourselves.  This Sunday at Dakota Unitarian Universalist Church, we will take the journey from this point forward and indeed even link it to citizenship responsibility to vote (as in UU the vote) and honoring those who work so tirelessly to protect our hard-won freedom for free and fair elections. I invite you to join us in person, virtually live – or virtually via recording on Facebook or YouTube to embark on a new leg of our journey, understanding our sainthood in new and imaginative ways – ways in which we all just might – you guessed it – work together in unity and diversity TO CHANGE THE WORLD.

Get an extra hour of sleep as we turn our clocks back to Standard Time
