The holiday season is over and our lives are seemingly returning to some semblance of normalcy. So what do we do with all we have experienced and explored this past couple of months as we planned and attended events surround the topics of hope, expectancy, joy, togetherness and the returning of the light? As Howard Thurman put it –
When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flock,
The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the prisoner,
To rebuild the nations,
To bring peace among others,
To make music in the heart.
Join us this Sunday as we dive more deeply into what it can mean and what can happen as we live into the returning light that calls us to action.
