Stephanie Lee

Progressive faith communities have long been working for justice in the areas of accessibility, and much of that work has paved the way for persons such as Stephanie Lee to pursue the path of ordination. Steph is from Michigan and recently earned a master’s of divinity from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. She has over 17 years of counseling experience and is involved in the search and call process within the United Church of Christ. It has been an ongoing dream of Steph’s to be a pastor of a progressive church, and she has served on the United Church of Christ disability ministry board while also provoking ongoing discussion and theological writing about disability theology. Steph holds dear her family, friends, and two cats; musical theater and audio books make her happy, too. She’s a self proclaimed foodie and a proud auntie to 5 nieces and nephews. We welcome Steph as she shares her experiences and wisdom concerning disability theology and mission focuses on those who live with disabilities.
