This week, Rev Bryan will be discussing not only the importance of spiritual community but also how to widen and to embrace spiritual community beyond the traditional bounds we think of it as. The challenge is to see beyond the traditional mindset of what it means to be a church – and to widen the circle of thinking so that we can work to more fully widen the circle of people who need our love and our support. Our work as a uniquely accepting and affirming family of faith/non-faith is more radically important than ever, and that calls for thinking outside of the traditional concept of church.
