When I was younger, remember hearing these wise words from my grandparents – usually shared when I was frustrated with something not going my way: “Today is the first day of the rest of your life! Move forward, not backward; make each new beginning count!”
Sunday July 14 is a day where we will celebrate new beginnings. It’s sort of a pre-kick-off for the 2024-2025 church year at Dakota Unitarian Universalist Church. Each September, we embark on a new year of possibilities. Time to grow and change and be challenged in novel and sometimes unexpected ways.
Join us as we look forward together to our next year full of exciting and fantastic ways we can work to make the world a better place, even as we find nurture and inspiration within our dynamic, growing faith community. Let’s make it count!
