Rev. Bryan will present:

The theme for this Sunday is “As the Wheel Turns” meant to be a cheeky title based on the daytime drama show “As the World Turns.” 

The focus will be on Imbolc (which is February 2) and its importance in the earth based “Wheel of the Year.” 

The goddesss Brigid is the significant figure of Imbolc. The term means “in the belly” or “milking time” as in the start of the lambing season coming. 

Imbolc gives us a greater return of the light, awakening time as things start to renew below the ground as seeds and hibernating creatures just barely start to notice the change of seasons that is coming. 

I’ll be focusing on what I see as the “pregnancy” of both this season and the time in which we are living right now.
