What does the word Africa bring to mind? Probably many things, yet only a taste of that enormous, richly diverse continent. I had only ten days in only one country – Kenya. Yet I left there overflowing with gratitude for a treasure chest of new images, knowledge, questions, and friends. In this time of climate catastrophes and unspeakable wars, not to mention lies, fear-mongering, and demonization, it’s a privilege to share some joyful sights and sounds that might remind us that the unfamiliar could be just what we need.
